Cardiovascular Ultrasound

Echocardiography (ECHO) is a radiation-free, completely painless, and real-time imaging method. It provides invaluable information about the organ's physical condition by allowing us to watch the inside of the heart "live."

What Do we See with Echocardiography?

We examine the following features of the heart with our modern ultrasound devices:

  • Heart Valves: Whether there is narrowing, leakage, or calcification in the valves.
  • Heart Walls and Muscle Structure: The thickness and pumping power (Ejection Fraction) of the heart muscle.
  • Blood Flow Velocities: Blood flow direction and pressure differences within the heart with Color Doppler technology.
  • Neck Vessels (Carotid Doppler): Checking for narrowing and plaque formation in the carotid arteries to determine stroke risk.

Tissue Doppler Technology

With the advanced Tissue Doppler imaging used in our clinics, we can measure not just the movement of the heart muscle but also the shortening and relaxation speeds of its fibers. This allows us to catch hidden and early stages of heart failure.

"To see is to know. We examine every corner of your heart transparently with ultrasound technology."

How Does the Process Work?

The procedure takes about 15-20 minutes. Images are reflected on the screen with the help of a conductive gel and probe applied to the chest area while our patient is lying down. At the end of the procedure, you can return to daily life without any restrictions.
